Four days in London, bright sunshine and countless impressions that were far too beautiful to capture only in photographs. This city manages to inspire me anew every single time – with its energy, its contrasts and the small moments in between.
Alongside classics such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Harrods, we consciously took the time to experience London with all our senses: lunch at Jamie Oliver on Catherine Street, long walks, culture, great food – and lots of atmosphere.
From this trip, three illustrations were created, capturing my favourite London moments like a personal travel diary.
A drink at Leadenhall Market
Leadenhall Market is one of those places where you instantly feel how history and modern city life merge into one. Surrounded by Victorian architecture, light, glass and the vibrant buzz of the city, I captured this moment over a drink – elegant, lively and full of London charm. For me, it’s a true symbol of the city’s cosmopolitan spirit.

An evening at the English National Ballet – The Nutcracker
A visit to the English National Ballet had been on my wish list for a long time. The Nutcracker in this stunning setting was pure magic: opulent costumes, classical elegance, and that unique festive atmosphere. The illustration captures this very moment – inspired by movement, grace, and the timeless aesthetics of ballet.

Afternoon Tea, inspired by Marie Antoinette at the V&A Museum
The Victoria and Albert Museum is always a source of inspiration, but the Marie Antoinette exhibition particularly captivated me. Opulence, colors, fabrics, and historical details – all of this flowed into my third illustration. Combined with the tradition of Afternoon Tea, it created a motif that blends London culture with French elegance.
These three illustrations are my very personal memory of London – like a quickly passing dream sequence of images, impressions, and emotions.
