More Information

In the showroom of Christine Kröncke Interior Design at Munich’s Ludwigpalais I presented my first solo exhibition in Munich: Albergo Ada. Many guests came to the vernissage, and for a few days my paintings hung among furniture, fabrics and lamps as if they had always belonged there.

What the title means

The name of the series brings together two ideas. Ada refers to the Italian poet Ada Negri, who at the end of the 19th century was one of the first to bring social themes into her poetry. Albergo stands for the places of longing we all like to dream ourselves away to.

Colour that energises a room

The compositions of shape and colour are meant to charge their surroundings with positive energy and are allowed to simply be fun. On show were originals on canvas, art prints and risographs.

Many motifs are available as art prints in the shop. The originals are one of a kind, please send enquiries by email to office@nadjakoenig.com. Find out more about my fine art on the About page.
