This was July. Ein Monat zwischen Laufsteg und Seeufer, zwischen großen Bühnen und einem freien Tag am Wasser.

Frontrow Sketching. 15 Jahre @cocoverotrachten im @rosewoodmunich . Zum ersten Mal habe ich live aus der ersten Reihe gezeichnet, Models, die in Sekunden vorbeiziehen, und die Hand, die mitzieht. Bald zeige ich mehr davon.

Drawn to Summer. Mein Abend mit Marcella von @malluvia_innenarchitektur . Aus einer Zeichnung ist eine begehbare Sommerwelt geworden, aus Blüten, Zitrus und Farbe. Ein Raum, in den man am liebsten eingezogen wäre.

Damenwiesn. Ein erster Sneak Peek auf mein Motiv für die Mercedes-Benz Damenwiesn 2026. Die Vorfreude auf die Wiesn ist jetzt schon groß.

Studiovibes. Zwischendurch immer wieder das Atelier. Und Blumen. Die müssen einfach immer sein.

Aperitivo. Was als Aperitivo mit @gorenje_deutschland begann, ist zu einer kleinen Kooperation geworden. Eis geht eben immer.

Day Off. Ein Tag am See, einfach mal raus. Wie schön, dass München die Seen direkt vor der Haustür hat. Ammersee, ich komme wieder.

Der Sommer ist noch lange nicht vorbei. 🖤

Three ice creams that turned into three artworks.

Blaubeere lehnt sich an Lavendel. Wassermelone trifft Basilikum. Banane wird zum Daiquiri. Drei Sorten, die ich so in keiner Eisdiele bekomme, also sind sie kurzerhand bei mir zu Hause entstanden. Eine Idee am Vormittag, eine Minute später fertig, ganz ohne Vorfrieren.

Und weil die Farben zu schön zum Wegessen waren, sind sie gleich aufs Papier gewandert. Jede Sorte als eigene Illustration. Erst gelöffelt, dann gezeichnet.

Möglich gemacht hat die drei kleinen Kunstwerke die neue Gorenje GIICM 3-in-1 Instant-Eismaschine von @gorenje.deutschland , die aus einer Idee in einer Minute Eis, Slushie oder Shaved Ice macht.

Before I drew, I sewed.

First as a seamstress, later in fashion design at BOSS and Escada. Fabric was my first tool. Now my illustrations are finding their way back to it — a line becomes thread, with pearls that catch the light. What stays quiet on paper begins to shine on fabric.

Before the first guest arrived, there was an empty table and an armful of flowers.

This is how Marcella and I built the heart of Drawn to Summer: my work „Crane Expectations“, framed with branches, blossoms and citrus, set piece by piece until the drawing and the room became one thing. Marcella has the eye for the space, I brought the line. Somewhere in the middle the two met.

One line can make it. Or break it.
My illustrations live on reduction. A few strokes that show what matters, nothing more. But for a figure to truly feel, it’s often the smallest details that decide. The sweep of an eyebrow. The shadow a collar throws. That’s why so many sketches come before a single finished piece.

Drawn to Summer — an aperitivo, and a first. For

Drawn to Summer — an aperitivo, and a first.

For one evening our two worlds met in a room full of flowers, fruit and people. It was the first time we joined forces: Marcella opened her studio, and together we built an installation around one of Nadja’s works — blossoms, citrus and colour, staged like a still life you could walk right into.

The room filled early and stayed full until late. Thank you to everyone who came, poured, looked closely and lingered.
