Summer break at the Mons Silva Chalets, South Tyrol

Autumn is just around the corner – so we quickly packed our bags to catch the last summer sunshine in Ratschings, South Tyrol. With my illustrations created there, I’ll take you over the Brenner Pass to the Mons Silva Chalets.

The forest chalets belong to the Alphotel Tyrol and are about a three-hour drive from Munich. So, it’s perfect for a short trip. The small chalet village is only two minutes away from the hotel and offers everything you could ever dream of: beautiful rooms with an open fireplace and mountain view, your own sauna, hot tub, and bathtub. And the best part: In the morning, the “mountain fairies” at the Mons Silva Chalets prepare breakfast in the kitchen for you, and you only have to sit at the table and press the espresso machine button, while the kids can learn how to make scrambled eggs right away.

You can also fully enjoy the services of the connected hotel: wellness area, restaurant, and most importantly for us: the huge playground with rabbits, ponies, tractors, and more. But see for yourself, I think our little travel diary and the pictures speak for themselves.
