Diptyque Paris – Christmas Live Illustration

At Christmas, Diptyque Paris invited customers to a special event at Ludwig Beck in Munich. I sat at the counter with ink and colour and personalised their gifts on the spot, every card a small original.

A greeting made by hand

Whether a festive greeting, a little motif for a best friend or a wish all of their own: the drawings on the cards made each gift truly personal. Some asked for Diptyque’s famous candles and bottles as a motif, others for a fir branch, a dog or a memory of a moment shared.

The world of Diptyque on paper

Diptyque combines fragrance and illustration like hardly any other house. The oval labels and drawn motifs on the candles have always been part of it. Stepping into this world with my own handwriting was a particular pleasure.
